Wow! This book blew me away with so many emotions. Most of the book I thought Carter was a jerk but I also saw his pain shining through with all his anger and hate. Then you have strong and beautiful Zoey who puts up with him and even tries to help him. I loved how the push and pull with both characters felt so real. They both showed so much emotion while dealing with their past and present. Nora was such a sweet soul and she really pulled the whole story together for me. Great story, amazing characters and an incredible author.
