Wow! What can I say to bring justice to this book and author??? This story was gritty, intense, sensual, passionate and brutal. I loved every minute of it. Alexei and Clara just have that connection from the first time they meet and it never dies, it just gets more intense. Most of the books I have read from this author are about MC characters but I have to say that she can write any character and I will be hooked. The story was insightful and showed that even in the dark there is pleasure. From pain we can be surprised. I highly recommend this book and I can't wait for Alina's story in Broken Dove. This book was simply amazing and I can't say enough good about it.
