This book is amazing. Wrecker and Alice have my heart. When her mom does, Alice feels her world crumble. The only constant is Wrecker. He won’t leave her alone. She needs this but she is always pushing him away. Wrecker wants her but he needs to be able to understand her first. She has to open up. Excellent writing with a heartbreaking storyline.

Wrecker is trying to get his MC out of a no win situation and when Alice pulls a disappearing act on the girl gang, they ask him to stop and check on her. When he finds Alice falling apart he knows he can't walk away from this broken shell of the vivacious woman he knew. They get closer but danger also follows Wrecker to town, one that may end more than he realizes. I love this series and this was the couple I wanted to read. Excellent story that kept me guessing and wanting more. Another great addition to this series. Definitely recommended. Winter Travers is the ultimate MC storyteller.
