WOW! I think I am in love with Rivers Crow of The Crow Brothers band. His story was a hard one to read because of all the pain he felt losing his Mom at 17 and the loss of his soulmate a year later. Then there is Stella Fellowes woman Rivers destroyed with lies and left to live the hell that her life had been. Stella's story broke my heart. When Rivers comes back 5 years later to claim what should have been his all along. S.L. Scott knows how to pull the write kind of emotions from her characters to tell an emotionally charged story that will stay with her readers for a long time to come. I highly recommend this book and the previous books in this series. I cannot wait to read Meadow and Bridge's story next.
