Onyx is all power and no one crosses him. He is ruthless and commands power. He takes Torryn as a collateral. The contract Onyx has with her sister has gone bad and he needs to see it through. He is cruel to her and demands a lot of her. Things take an unexpected turn when she finally sees what he does. Can evil had a good side? I loved this book. The ending OMG!!! Excellent writing with a storyline that will leave you wanting so much more of Onyx.
