When Diarmuid first saw Saoirse as a girl and he was her Juvenile Liaison Officer and meant to help her. Diarmuid loved his kids and he would do anything for them, but something was different with Saoirse. His connection with her was special. So when events led him to walk away from her, it hurt not only Saoirse but him as well deeper than he thought. This is a romance that spans seven years but it is not a happy journey. This journey is filled with pain and love. This story shows devotion and hatred. This story shows that just because you are born a certain way doesn't determine your future. Great characters that were very well devoloped and believable. Enjoyable read that I would read again.
