Barrett Callahan is the biggest man whore around but he also happens to be Senator James Callahan's son. He is a lot of trouble in one hot male package. Addison is a Volunteer Coordinator for the Senator's Election Office. She is a hard worker who has been burnt badly by the last man she was involved with. She is also almost broke. She is called into the Senator's office and he offers her a job she couldn't refuse... to be Barrett's fake fiancée until after the election. That is nine months being led around and dressed for the media. Sounds easy right? Well, that is until I met the a** that is my fiancée.

I really enjoyed this book and combat between the characters. Addison doesn't take anything that Barrett throws at her as well as not falling at his feet like he is used to. So the battle ensues on and off the campaign trail. I like how the characters developed through the story naturally. Definitely a fun book to read and quite a few LOL moments. Katie Ashley has a hit with Running Mate and a book I would recommend.
