Jackson "Jax" Malone MMA Fighter has been accused of a brutal rape. Page Davenport is the attorney assigned to his case by her domineering father as she is the only female attorney in his firm. Page finds Jax angry but highly attractive. Page dives in full steam and takes on this case and Jax. Struggling to fight her attraction, her domineering father and her jerk of a fiancé plus trying to give Jax the best defense may prove more than Page can take.

Jax's language towards women may be off putting for some but as you read the story you understand why he is the way he is. Page is a strong woman who has been fighting to get out of the mold that she was told she would fit in. I love how Jax brings out the strength in Page and how Page brings out the softer side in Jax. This book was so good and I will be reading more of this series. Loved Lane Hart's writing style. The humor and snark in this book had me laughing.
