Olivia Emerson is a Psychic Medium and has been hired to investigate with the famous Sullivan Wilde a well known paranormal investigator. "Ollie" is 27 but looks about 16 and "Sully" is not happy working with her. He makes his dislike for her known but he is strangely drawn to her. Once they reach this haunted island the spirits there reach out for their help, especially Olivia. There is one evil presence that doesn't want Sullivan there and it shows him physically every time he can. This only spurs on Sullivan's anger towards the spirit. This puts both Olivia and Sullivan lives in extreme danger. Will Sully fully believe in Ollie's abilities or will this evil spirit end both of their lives permanently?

This book started out slow and I felt it was too detail orientated and normally I would deduct a star for it, but after further reading I just couldn't do that. This book is amazing and it had everything a great paranormal book should have: Romance, Suspense, Evil Spirits and a Great Story. This book pulled me in and caused me to lose sleep because I couldn't stop reading. I had to know what was going to happen. It gave me chills and I loved every minute of it. Don't let the details bog you down, because if you do; you will miss out on an amazing book. Definitely a five star read.

Olivia has been hired to investigate a haunting but she has to work with the always brooding Sullivan Wilde. He cannot stand her kind and is rumored to be anything but nice.

In the beginning days of the trip, he proved to be just what she expected.

When Olivia speaks to the ghost at the motel, she takes heed and does her best to protect him. He doesn't believe all that she says but deep down, he does.

Sully had a soul fill of sorrow and he refuses to talk about it.

The church and the evil within proves to be difficult but with determination, they get the souls to cross over.

When Sully rescues Olivia from the water, something changes in him. They spend one amazing night of survival and love together.

Three weeks home and they are both miserable. When they finally see each other, they realize they need and want one another. Sully knows this is gonna be a uphill fight but he is determined to see it work.

Brooding boy meets girl running from her own demons.... I love a romance with a conflict that keeps the couple apart and they have to fight against the odds together.
